Manual of good practices

The Aragón Film Commission promotes film productions and photographic shoots that respect the natural, social, and professional environment. If you plan to request our services, please note the following:

  • The application for filming permits and the payment of the corresponding fees, if applicable, is mandatory. The conditions determined by the competent municipal, regional or state authority for each specific case must be respected.
  • The production company must have the appropriate prevention equipment and insurance for each type of filming, which covers its own risks and possible damage to third parties, in order to comply with the security measures included in municipal regulations and general regulations. It is advisable to work with insurance companies specialized in the audiovisual industry.
  • Audiovisual companies are obliged to comply with current legislation regarding the hiring of their workers. The production must respect the current salary tables and the duration of the working day, according to the collective agreements and the Worker’s Statute. Here you can consult the current salary tables according to the State Agreement of the Audiovisual Production Industry for Technicians (BOE 04/24/2017)
  • We recommend applying environmental sustainability measures in filming (Green Film Shooting) to respect and care for the natural environment: Reduce electricity consumption; reduce waste; recycle or donate material from the decorations and props; use of seasonal and local products caterings; avoid plastic bottles; reduce the number of vehicles, etc.
  • If residents or businesses may be affected by the filming or photo shoot, they must be informed in advance, and noise should be kept to a minimum. We recommend notifying all affected individuals and/or companies, providing information on the locations to be used, the name of the production and the producer, a contact person, the type of production, the nature of the activity, and its duration.
  • No filming or photographic sessions may be made that go against the rules of social coexistence, that may hurt the sensitivity of pedestrians, that are detrimental to the image of the town or its inhabitants, that violate the dignity of people, contrary to the values and rights recognized by the Constitution or that violate the applicable municipal or general regulations.
